Historical Notes on the antiques that comprise part of
our unique decor:
The carved oak molding, framing our menu board in the
dining room originally graced the entry foyer of the
"Peck" Mansion built in 1888 on the east shore
of Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc, WI and was demolished
in 1991.
Our ornate oak lobby bench (circa 1890) graced a County
Courthouse hallway in Quincy, Illinois.
The exact location, building, and
appearance have changed many times over the past 22
years, but loyal customers always know what to expect.
Quality food fit for any craving at any time of the day
(or night!). Of course, the expected isn’t always
conventional. The bright, newly renovated interior,
playful employees, jukebox, and the large community of
people that finds a home away from home in our dining
room infuse together create the fantastic “Shuttle”
culture. Don’t forget about the delicious cuisine
either. If you’re craving pizzas, well, that’s our
specialty. If you’re not in the mood for a pie, we
burgers, pasta, subs, and even pork ribs. For dessert,
there’s always custard.
Our delivery drivers are always
happy to show up at your door, even well past your bed
time. We are pleased to provide delivery service to
starving night dwellers amidst the dark store fronts of
the late night east side. If you need catering for the
day time, we have a new crew awake and ready to
accommodate special occasions. Any event’s needs can be
met, whether it’s a business lunch, birthday party,
wedding, or field trip to the museum.
While you are here, why not stay
for awhile? After all, the comfort food, jukebox music,
laughter, and the friends you will find yourself
surrounded by create all the partying you will need for
a Friday night, Saturday night, or any night of the
week. If you’re with a big group of people, order
Wisconsin’s largest pizza and we’ll deliver right to
your table. A solo night out on the town? How about a
slice and a soda and panoramic view of the East Side
from our second story window seat? And if you’re trying
to impress that special someone, we can do that for you
too. A large order of Bosco Stix, a table on our outdoor
patio, and a stop in the picture booth on your way out
will do the trick. We promise.
Pizza Shuttle has been around for
22 years and hope we’ll still be serving the East Side
the hot fresh pizza that it has come to expect for many
more years to come. We’ve been recognized as one of the
top 100 independent pizzerias in the nation, and we are
proud of it. We have donated to local charities as a
way to say thank you to our loyal customers that
comprise this little Milwaukee community that we believe
is so important to invest in for the future. And we have
always strived to a melting pot for the diversity of the
East Side: families, business people, hippies, hip-hop
kids, punks, students, artists, young, wise, and anyone
inbetween. We have become a cornerstone for the
neighborhood, and we look forward to welcoming you
through our ever-evolving doors for the many stages of
life yet to come.
